At about 11:50 pm on Saturday, March 13th, a man driving a Nissan Sentra slowly in an exit ramp off I-45 South just outside of Loop 610 was struck from behind by a vehicle traveling at a very high rate of speed with such force that the Sentra’s entire rear-end was crushed and a female passenger in the front seat was killed upon impact. The Sentra’s driver also received serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition. According to HPD officers on the scene the driver of the vehicle which hit the Sentra fled after the collision and police are presently searching for that driver, who will face felony charges upon apprehension.
