Woman Runs Over, Seriously Injures Sister
At about 9:15 pm on Sunday, September 23rd, a woman trying to park her pickup in the driveway of a home on Mohawk Street and Foy Lane in northeast Harris County ran over and seriously injured her adult sister. According to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies on the scene, the driver either hit the wrong pedal or lost control as she was pulling in. The victim suffered a severe head injury and was taken by ambulance to an area hospital in undetermined condition, although she is expected to survive. Investigation of the incident continues and at present no charges have been filed. Since the incident happened on private property, no citation was issued.
