At 2:22 pm on Tuesday, February 25th, a woman riding a motorcycle crashed into the rear end of a vehicle stopped in front of her in heavy traffic on the northbound lanes of the I-610 West Loop at Evergreen. She was thrown from the bike due to the force of the impact and died at the scene even though she was wearing a helmet. According to Bellaire Police officers on the scene, investigation of the collision continues and will include routine autopsy toxicology tests to determine if alcohol was involved.
