Good Job Mom!

On Thursday, June 14th, with temperatures in the area hovering above 90 degrees, a Spring woman left her 7-year-old son in her vehicle, with the engine off and the driver’s side window cracked about 4 inches, while she went into a Wal-Mart store in the 24800 block of Aldine Westfield Road to spend about 40 minutes shoplifting roughly $70 worth of women’s makeup. A passerby called 911 about the child and at about the same time, the woman’s illegal activities were reported to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office by store security. Deputies quickly arrived and the woman was arrested as she left the store and charged with both shoplifting and child endangerment. First responders treated the child at the scene and he was released in good condition to relatives. The woman was booked into the Harris County jail and remains jailed in lieu of a $15,000 bond. Hopefully, Harris County CPS will get involved in this case and find the little boy a home with some folks who will love and want him and give him the good start in life all kids deserve.
